Compensation for Down's Syndrome?

A Latvian woman has taken her case to the European Court of Human Rights after she gave birth some years ago to a child with Down's Syndrome. She wasn't aware of the disability when she was pregnant, because the doctor didn't order a prenatal screening test. Claiming that her rights were breached, she has launched a controversial legal battle for compensation.

Ģederts Ģelzis reports from Riga.
